Is Pardew going to switch Delaney for Tomkins for the next game? Painted himself into a corner with changing it every week, suddenly there is no one in the back 5 that can be relied upon.

He has made match-winning saves, I'll give him that. But people overrate him because he got to the semi-finals of the Euros with Wales. I'd rather have Speroni back for the whole season.

Think part of the issue is Pardew's man management

You could see from Puncheon's reaction in the cup final what he thought. Pardew has spent so much of his time up Cabaye's backside its a wonder he can see anything at all.

Then he stars waxing lyrical about Mandanda (who no doubt is a good keeper but he has done to Hennessey what he did to Speroni)

Part of his issue is that in his haste to "transition" the team he's marginalised some of the support. Speroni, Jedinak even to an extent Zaha may not be the best players, but they are players I as a supporter could identify with, rather than some of the ones that Pardew seems to think are worth top dollar and should have smoke

Layed Burnley. Just because it's 1.22, no other reason. Doesnt feel like we'll get anything but we've had the Townsend chance and now the Benteke chance. For a small cost, why not.
