I've been posting all season along the lines that Zaha is the problem and not the answer, and we have seen what can happen when responsibility is handed to other talented individuals, who share team based ethos.

I know it's great that we've won three on the trot and that we're scoring again and that we've shown we can do it without Wilf, but I think people are acting like he's sh!t in their bed. The three teams we've just played were pretty awful and showed why they are where they are with defences as wide open as Stormy Daniels' legs. Wilf destroyed Leicester in the first half and likely would have taken Ayling apart like Lego (like he did earlier in the season). Maitland-Niles v Wilf? No contest. Would Eze and Olise have played with the same freedom and confidence without Wilf on the pitch is a valid question, but I don't like the way people are denigrating Wilf. He still shows he loves the club even if he does have aspirations elsewhere and quite frankly we are still in the PL because of him. We can just enjoy the wins without having to bash someone in the process.

I, Personally hope Wilf has a run out at the end of the Forest game, accept for injuries, he has been wonderful for us, but it is finished now, any contract offers if any have been made i would withdraw them, unfortunately the 130k a week is now more important than the player.

I do get the feeling that better teams than the 3 we just beat would have put us to the sword in the first half. Certainly Saints yesterday could easily have gone into the break 2-0 up. I don’t mind the keep it tight for 45 minutes ploy but I thought we looked wide open for large parts of that first half. Second half we forced them to defend and then they looked the worse for it. We eased off towards the end of the match and they very nearly got back into it.

I think the current players we have look far better when on the front foot than slogging it out for a dour 45 minute defensive display, however do we have the fitness or the replacement bench players to do that for 90 minutes? I’m not sure that we have.

Yes! We need to cut the wage bill, Zaha,Clyne, Tomkins, Milo and Reidewald need to go,this will save £300,00 ish a week.
