I think maybe we've all become too accepting of the idea that you shouldn't keep an unhappy player. I'm sure plenty have made themselves a nuisance, or downed tools when they didn't get a move they wanted but most will appreciate that the deal (including the timing) has to be right for the selling club as well as for the player. There is the small matter of the player having signed a contract to play for their current club, and their own best interests are served by playing well anyway.

Olise seems like a careful career planner. He came to us because he felt he'd get regular premier league football sooner than at other clubs, and will be well aware of how little playing time the likes of Gallagher, Hudson-Odoi etc get at Chelsea.

At some stage he will want to go, but he is apparently contracted until 2026,so no need to sell this summer, no matter what the player wants.

Never a truer word spoke, if you pardon the expression, also, don't forget, he's has a nasty injury & the fact that the 'EPL Injuries Table' gives a mid Sept return date, i think he will be out for longer, my opinion.

Besides, what club in their right mind would buy an injured player? . . . . Oh, hang on.

Seems a bit of an overreaction to my post. He who casts the first stone etc. If you check back you will find I have and am supportive of you posting etc.

Just how about you follow the rules and format members are asked to follow when posting about transfers? Each potential incoming transfer having its own thread in transfer talk so that members are able to follow what is happening without having to trawl through several pages etc.

Quotes from Roy in The Athletic this morning saying that Olise's future is in doubt amid the interest and that he feels as though the club have lost 5 senior players and only brought one in to replace them, so the club need to strengthen significantly before the season.

Have never really heard Roy challenge the owners to pull their fingers out before which shows that even he must be a bit worried.

The thing is if we sell Olise for £50-60m then other clubs are going to charge us more for replacements. We literally need to get players in quickly for a fair price and then consider selling, rather than the other way round.

This highlighted bit is all very well & good & TBF, most, if not all clubs, all want the same thing, BUT, there's always a but, clubs know we are going to lose Olise/Eze at some point & they are also aware we will need to replace them, so whether we buy replacements now(ish) or after they've gone, prices will still be high.

We don't need to trawl through several pages etc. when we've got Dazza to do it for us. Can't understand why people are so concerned at where he gets his info from, be it twitter or anywhere else. If some of it is from an inside source only an idiot would expect him to reveal his source. I presume that he opened his own topic on here so that people who don't like his transfer posts don't have to see them. Keep on posting please Dazza
