Someone I know has been stripped of their ST for selling on Facebook for a game they could not attend. So if you are one of those who do so I would suggest that you only go though the official channels. It seems a bit harsh that he has been banned immediately and not given a warning but I suppose it means the club can now resell his seat. Harsh thing to do to someone that has been following the club for decades.

Seems very harsh in my opinion. Personally when I cannot go my seat remains unused, I've got a huge bargain already. I kind of understand the clubs point of view. Selling seats as season tickets they get just over £30 a game for that seat. If they sell the seat match by match it is £50 a game minimum. Be careful folks.

Next season if I miss a game and my mate doesn’t want me to transfer it to him for his other half, I won’t be sodding about putting it up for resale that’s for sure, i did it for 4 games this season and apparently it didn’t sell so I got no refunds. Even though the season before I got £52 of refunds(2 games) even though according to mates no-one sat in my seat. I think they make it up as they go along

There is a group on FB that the club allow people to resell their tickets on, it "the eagles have landed" i would assume that person tried to sell their ticket elsewhere.

Bit strong without at the very least a warning that if you do it again you will lose the ticket, which no doubt the club would resell and keep all the money.

Seems harsh but no doubt there is something in the terms & conditions in reference to selling the usage of the ticket to unauthorised / undeclared persons- for example a season ticket sale on facebook could have then been sold on to yet another person, or to a ticket tout selling it at extortionate prices or ended up in the hands of a known trouble maker or someone with a stadium ban in place - Especially as the club do have in place a possibility to declare family & friends as well as the resale through the club facility - (however well it does or doesn't work)

My season ticket normally costs 600 I managed to resell a few back to the club and got 200 knocked off for next season. Works out just under 22 pounds a game next season. I don't understand why someone would not resell their ticket if they can't make it. But hey ho it's up to you. I normally resell the games against the United / Liverpool's cities etc...and go to the mid table games I enjoy them more.

I suppose that’s why yours sold and mine supposedly didn’t, your tickets were a bit more inviting than my Bournemouth and Sheffield United mid week, although I would’ve thought Brighton and Chelsea would’ve sold

I used the ticket resale option for the Man U game (the first time that I have used it) as I was up in Sheffield for work early Tuesday morning & with the rail strike set to kick in 100% I couldn't miss the appointment - the ticket sold within 2 hours, no doubt they have waiting lists for some of the more popular games. When I go on Sunday I will be keen to ask those around me if my seat was actually filled & to make sure it was actually a Palace fan using it.

If you go to ticket resale FAQ you can see how to navigate the section, when you posted & whether / when it sold - but as you say its far from easy & 100% agree there should be a link to a client account where you can see a table of all transactions / account balances.
