Only got round to watching it this week - thought it was one of the best films I had seen in recent years. Loved catching up with what the lads had been up to.

Agree there Tom. Fantastic film in all aspects. Humour, sadness, drama, music and the retrospective scenes were a great reminder of the first film. Robert Carlyle's acting is immense and very believable! Ollie's Dad,Ash.

Saw it two weeks ago and i really enjoyed it. While it lacks the bite of it's predecessor, you can't deny that Renton and the gang are now older and wiser following the past 20 years. Robert Carlyle is still terrific as Begbie, but Ewen Bremner's wide-eyed, unassuming and lovable Spud steals the whole show.
"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |
