While that is a wild assumption based on limited circumstantial evidence, I'd happily make another one and assume that he's probably had his mind made up about Sakho for quite a while, and Niasse was unlikely to have been on the radar three months ago.

The reality is that most, no, all of the rants, vitriol & complaints about our transfer activity on here are supposition and conjecture as the only people who actually know are those directly involved. Social media and bulls***/click bait press coverage make things 10 times worse. You could say we've done much better than the Arse, just to put it into context.

Yep, but Arsenal squad is much better than ours and they will probably get away with it, as far as we are concerned we will struggle because of lack of quality in depth within the squad. The deal with Sakho should have been done weeks ago and not left to the last minute as always seems to be the case with Parish. Sakho is good for the club but we really needed at least two if not three more so we will have to go through this panic buying all again come January, hey ho!
