To be fair, I think Blitzer and Harris would sell up if they could find a buyer (They have obviously had enough). The problem is that any new owners will experience the same issues as the current owners, seemingly different opinions on what should happen.

Whilst some of the owners want to invest more and others spend only what is absolutely necessary. There has been some baffling decisions on the money that has been spent.

£20m on a backup goalkeeper
£4m on a 4th choice centre back (whilst letting one of our better prospects leave for Lyon).
A failure to utilise the loan market

Leaving us with a paper thin squad given our injuries.

Having 2 goalkeepers on the bench for matchdays is laughable.

I don't think us Palace supporters are asking for mega bucks investment, perhaps more thought out and sensible decision-making to help us progress.

I dread to think the mess we will be in next summer looking for a new manager. No doubt going into July still without a manager, let alone any new players.

It was that baffling, even the fans who will blindly support the board no matter what, had to make up the best rumour, johnstone was homesick living all of 100 miles away so wolves activated his 9 million pound release clause.

The people on Twitter who are calling to 'sack the board' are, on the whole, the stupidest.

They’re all quite young as well and haven’t experienced anything other than the highs and money of the premier league. And those that are not young are just angry bellends who think they can run the club better than Parish.

Agreed I have had this discussion with ME previously and we are very much on same page. I have no proof of this and don’t want to get Dazza treatment but a few seasons ago there were some very interested buyers (Israeli/British) but can’t remember their name. They had started due diligence but nothing came of it. I understand they were very interested in developing the whole ground. No idea what happened.
This came from a relative of Palace season ticket holder who had done a lot of work with the family

Was this also about the female MP? who got her fingers burnt because she became involved? Sure this was discussed on a thread not that long ago, possibly in the 'N&P' section.

These are absolutely the good days. We're an estalished Premier Legue side, with a great academy, plans for a new stadium in motion and we have got here by spending within our means. Most importantly, we have not lost our identity and sold out to Middle Eastern oil money.

I'll continue to support the board until the event we get relegated and fail to come back, but even then, I'll always back the club, no matter what.

The likes of the forementioned Leicester, Southampton, Charlton, Portsmouth, Sunderland etc who became overambitious and it hurt them immensely.

We have a great academy building.
