If no one has said it then no one has been silly.

I'm actually really pleased we didn't spend £8m on a player that in four months will join us on a free.

I'd be spitting blood if we'd blown all that money for four months service. Irrespective if we need him desperately or not.

The last few windows we've bought the players we've wanted and missed out on some we've wanted. But what's seemed to have stopped is filling our ranks with duds. So rather IMO wait for the free than sign another player we don't really rate becuase it'll fill a short term hole.

Two keepers for another few months and club have saved millions which hopefully means we haven't started spending the summers money already.

Is it ideal? Two keepers... ofcourse not.

But that's the decision Parish and Co have made and Yes they will be the ones that live by that decision and get judge upon it should we go down.

Then why bring it up?

When I read it I thought wtf is he saying someone's said something they haven't. Just like an Eastenders episode.

YEAH sorry couldn't be bothered to read all the threads and pages. Sorry if anyone who didn't say anything was offended.

What's wrong with Parish getting paid for doing the job he does?

Who goes to work for nothing...?

Even business owners pay themselves....

Kinda silly for anyone to say how dare he.

Normally the owners are the best paid members of staff right?

Is Parish the most highly paid person at Palace? No.

And yet haters will hate. Can't imagine a single one of us would run a business and it be our main job and not take a pay cheque.

But bless all those that do right.

Do you not think this kind of thing encourages others to create more rubbish from already created fiction on a thread we could do without?

Maybe we should all do it and excuse ourselves afterwards.

Evidently. And the wage issue was on all of 1-2 pages because someone thought Parish wasn't paid, when he is, and nobody said he shouldn't be.

You keep trying to answer questions that haven't been asked and the popularity or otherwise of Steve Parish's decisions is again irrelevant.

The question asked was who is to blame for the signings that didn't come off and the buck has to stop with the man in charge who is paid to make those decisions.

We were after Leander Dendoncker of Anderlecht and their General manager has publicly stated that a deal could have been done if we had approached them earlier than deadline day.

We were also after Brondby goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow but again our approach was made late on deadline day leaving Brondby insufficient time to find a replacement which is exactly what we did to the same club with the same player during the August transfer window.

Who's fault is it that we didn't get our targets as we didn't try and sign them until the last minute?

You say blaming Parish is irrelevant, then you try to lay the blame for everything at his door, but that has always been your agender. The reason that offers went in for Dendoncker and Brondby at the last minute are pretty obvious to everyone, don't try to use it as a weapon to attack Parish

I see that according to your profile you are 79 in a couple of weeks time. People of your age are notoriously intransigent so I won't bother engaging with you any further as it's obviously a waste of time

Best chairman we’ve had in regards to transfer dealing. Brought some names in that we’d never thought we’d see at the Palace.

Hopefully Roy would of had some say in the 3 signings we made and I'm sure that he will get the best out of them. Cannot past real comment until we see them play. Clearly hasn't been an easy window judging by other clubs signings. Hoping Roy will get a tidy amount of expenditure in the summer in an effort to boost the quality of the squad.

'He's coming on a free in 4 months.' Now that every prem club has him on their radar with 4 months for injuries to happen to keepers as well, hence why we need him. We wanted him dirt cheap 2 days ago and the wage / signing on fee bidding commences in June. But you're adamant he's coming.

And you're confident Roy isn't going to leave after failing to sign a keeper with other areas being stretched.

You seem pretty certain of these issues after posting how anybody outside of the inner sanctum knows absolutely nothing. Fact is we're playing a few games of chance we could and should've prevented.

Rudi, have you changed your mind as to whether Guaita is joining us in the Summer now? It would appear also that Roy is quite comfortable with it, stating that they were quite within their rights not to release him to us until the end of his contract.

Think Roy is comfortable with this being Getafes prerogative. Him being comfortable with the goal keepers and the state of the squad as announced today he is anything but I would imagine.
