Bang that pan!

For me it just highlights the difference between the mood music that the controlled mainstream media push out to Joe Public, which convinces and cajoles many of them and the realities in professions that are likely to have inside info.

It's like the PHD stats....but of course all of those must be conspiracy theorists.

Yes, but as we know, there is only one person who possesses such levels of perspicacity. We should consider ourselves truly blessed that he chooses to write on here.

Now, now , we have been asked leave the frail invalid alone, yet he continues to post rubbish and is always right

I have no idea where that chart purporting to show the NHS staff uptake of Covid vaccine boosters comes from.

It’s being circulated on X that’s for sure but having searched for a while in the official NHS pages I cannot find it.

It doesn’t match their standard presentation either.

So is it completely fake or someone extracting data and spinning it? I don’t know the answer to that. What I have discovered is that the NHS data collection is subject to a number of caveats and is produced by them for their own guidance to determine trends. It is not intended for public consumption because of its weakness and the need to set it in its context:-

You literally can't help some people, the link is literally there and the graph is just from the statistics.

Well it doesn't fit my narrative and I am always right so the link is irrelevant

That’s NOT the chart or the claims being made that’s being circulated.

That’s the raw data, without any breakdown into doctors, nurses etc.

They appear to have come out of thin air. As the “chart” itself does.

Read what the NHS says about the raw data:-

If this....poster....looks at the actual graph they can see the precise IRL for the graph written on it showing that it comes from the gov website.

I wouldn't entertain or take seriously anyone who is still taking the jabs and most likely still wearing a mask going around and is still catching "covid".

If the penny hasn't dropped yet I'm not sure it ever will.

If he were cut in half he'd have 'establishment social liberal' written through him or is it 'gay nudist beach enjoyer'?....thankfully we will never find out.

Obviously, I need to repeat myself!

That's just the raw data on a government website! Not the chart that was posted and made to look as though it comes from an "official" site.

If anyone can post a link to where that actual chart exists on a Government website please do so.

The raw data is useless unless it is put into its context. Which the link I provided attempts to do.

An anti-vaxer takes and spins imperfect raw data to make it look as though it comes from official sources! Is this a public service, or pushing a particular agenda?

Then they spoonfeed the misinformation to the gullible who dutifully lap it up as it supports their preconceptions and it soon gets spread out over the web.

My wife is a front-line NHS worker. She has had the booster vaccine and so have I. She tells me that whilst most of her colleagues have as well there are some, mainly younger people, who believe their protection is now sufficient without getting boosted, believing others need it more than themselves.

The NHS want to keep tabs on this so produce data regularly to determine trends. They know the data is incomplete and therefore not representative, but it is consistently so, thus enabling those trends to be seen.

The data is for internal consumption only and not intended to represent any kind of national statistic.

Building mountains of misinformation from molehills of incomplete data is what these conspiracy theorists do.

If people want to be fooled by it then there's little I can do other than suggest they look behind what's shoved in their face to verify its authenticity. Then it's up to them.

There are some though who are completely impervious to the need to verify. Once convinced nothing can shake that conviction.

Poor fella listened to the "experts" and got the vaccine and now has life changing injuries.

I noticed he was branded a "Conspiracy theorist" and "anti vaxer" by mainstream media outlets. But he got the vaccine....

My heart goes out to all the vaccine injured who were mis led about the "safe and effective" vaccine.

My heart goes out to anyone unlucky enough to suffer a side effect from any medicine or medical procedure. Fortunately they are rare and are outweighed by the benefits. If that weren’t so the medicines and the procedures would be withdrawn.

I have just had my third Covid infection, by far the worst of the three. I am fully vaccinated and at nearly 80 very pleased to be. I was unwell for several days but never so bad that hospitalisation was even considered. Had I not been protected by the vaccines I am not so sure that would have been true. The number now needing hospital treatment for Covid is minimal compared to the early days of the pandemic meaning the NHS has been able to start the long process of catching up.

The vaccines don’t stop infection by or transmission of the variants, which have mutated to enable them to overcome that. They do though stop severe disease and for those most at risk, which includes my age group, that’s vital. Not just for me but for everyone because if I am not using a NHS bed you can if you need it.

Nothing can ever be claimed to be totally safe and effective. The whole of life carries risk. People can die from getting out of bed! The real question is to determine the balance between risk and reward and with the Covid vaccines there is a clear and unequivocal answer.

Only the wilfully and determinedly obstinate anti-vax brigade think otherwise.
