1. Cabaye is the first player of Palace who comes behind Benteke in order to finish. Palace plays 4-3-3 and Leicester plays 4-4-2, that's why there's a difference between Cabaye and Okazaki. But they both pretty much operate behind the striker, even though Okazaki is a forward and Cabaye is a midfielder (though he has played behind the striker before, in his good days at Newcastle).
I didn't say they are the same type, but they're the first who appear behind the main striker (Vardy, Benteke) for their respective teams.

2. Statistically looking at football is not bad. You notice a pattern. You can see where it all will go. You should try arranging your thoughts a little bit looking at player statistics. You'll see how everything suddenly makes sense. But you have to know which stats are worthy. If one tells me 2 teams have met 50 times before the EPL was formed and one of the has always won, that is a bollocks statistic cause it means nothing for the present.

3. Let's try naming the players WITH pace who have success and the players WITHOUT pace. You've given me 2 names: Diego Costa and Ibrahimovic. I agree they aren't the most pacey footballers. I can't agree about Kane cause age alone makes him pretty darn fast.

You won't get past the 10 mark.
On the other hand, I'll name you: Vardy, Josh King, Antonio, Andre Gray, Zaha, Townsend, Chadli, Benik Afobe, Abel Hernandez, Stanislas, Ryan Fraser, Ward-Prowse,Niasse, Shane Long, Enner Valencia, Jonathan Walters, Joe Allen and Lanzini, Shaqiri all in the Premier League alone.

And in other countries: Aubameyang, Dembele, Schurrle, Robben, Ribery, Kimmich, Thomas Muller, Werner (new wonderkid of Germany), Forsberg, Demirbay, Carrasco, Pablo Sarabia, Ben Yedder, Gameiro, Gaitan, Bakambu, Cavani, Lacazette, Matuidi, Verratti, Dybala, Mertens, Callejon, Icardi, Belotti, Ciro Immobile, Bertrand Traore and Hakim Ziyech (saw him last night for Ajax and God, he was amazing! Soooo much running)

LMAO @ Abel Hernandez (straight terrible), ward-prowse, walters, and allen are all not pacey by any means

Or Icardi (he is quite quick on FM though), but definitely not noticeably pacey in real life.

What about Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta, Thiago, Xabi Alonso, Kroos, Benzema, Casemiro... To name a few without any glaring pace yet all play for teams who have no issues absolutely dismantling English teams year in year out in the CL. This guy is a buffoon

Matic, Costa, Ozil, Giroud (well he's much better than J f***ing walters), Firmino (not that quick at all), Zlatan, Kane, Deeney (but you think he's awful, and Jonathan walters is better LMFAO), Gabbiadini, David Silva, Ramsey, Santi Cazorla, Carrick, Dele Alli, Juan Mata. There's 15 for you, "all in the premier league alone" who aren't blessed particularly with pace that have have had success and also leagues ahead of the majority of players you just named.

Your football manager science is so flawed in real life, I actually feel sorry for you that you simply can't see.

We were talking about attacking players and you bring Matic and Carrick into the discussion.

Firmino is def not slow

Deeney is trash

David Silva is not as slow as Ozil or other slow players, he's quite ok for his age

Ramsey?? WHAT THE F**K???

Dele Alli, Juan Mata are not slow

That leaves just 5, maybe 6 top players who aren't incredibly pacey among the players who actually do something in the league (Ibra, Costa, Giroud, Gabbiadini, Ozil and maybe Cazorla, though he stopped being an attacking player )

I'd add to this list Benteke, Rondon, Aguero. That's 8 in the Premier League.

You have to go somewhere else to get past the 10 mark, look for Higuain, Pjanic, Dzeko, Lewandowski, Thiago, Benzema, Kroos, Ibisevic. That's about it

Not trying to be rude here, but let's just compare these 2 in the last 2 seasons in the Premier League (cause Deeney was just recently promoted).

Jonathan Walters has 8 goals and 4 assists (12) in 2950 minutes, excluding one penalty, many of which came playing as a right midfielder, not as a center forward. He's getting old but he still runs his socks off and his defensive contribution is much, much higher that Deeney's.

Deeney has 14 goals and 12 assists (26) in 5750 minutes playing as a center forward. His defensive contribution is 0. He doesn't recover balls, is obviously fat and barely makes a run.

Considering Walters has provided a goal or assist per 200 or 300 minutes regularly in the last 7 years in the Premier League (never once dropping below a goal or assist every 300 minutes per season) and him offering so much more defensively, you have to understand why I say he's a better player than Deeney.

I wouldn't say Walters rocks the Premier League at his age, but he is still an option for a team like Stoke.

So you're actually seriously saying that David Silva isn't slow but Aguero is. I'll give it to you, even by your standards, that's pretty incredible.

Rule of the thumb:

If a player who normally plays in the center of the pitch can play and is often used as a winger, then he has speed.

David Silva plays on the wing quite often. He's not Speedy Gonzales, but he's ok. And he's past 30, actually used to be even quicker.
Would you ever see Aguero play on the wing? Ever? There are diminutive strikers like Sanchez, Rooney, Palacio, Mertens, Griezmann, Gameiro, Lacazette, Gary Hooper, Matej Vydra, Gayle, they are fast and can, in need, play on the wing. Aguero can't.

Rule number 2:

If a center forward is under the age of 25 and in good shape, skinny (like Harry Kane, Morata) they will run their ass off. At least until they get older

You are missing my point here. My main point is about Defoe. Also, its obvious that there are a lot of attacking players with a good amount of pace, however I wasn't disputing that. My point was that it is not the be all or end all in football. Pace is a good attribute to have but if a player does not have pace, it does not mean they are no good. There are a lot of fast attacking players out there and Even if there are more successful pacey players out there it does not mean that a player with less pace can't be a good player.

Also, on age alone Harry Kane is fast, WTF? Being young does not automatically make you fast!

What kind of logic is this? Aguero can't play as a winger so is not fast?
Central Players that can play on the wing are automatically fast?!

Wow. Just wow
