Rickman Hill and Marpit Lane parks in coulsdon haven't had the grass cut in weeks , I was wondering if anyone has noticed the same around the Borough?

I went to kick the ball with my lad and its impossible and having my council tax increased its a bit of a p,,, take!

These asylum seekers aren’t going to pay for themselves

Its Not moaning, the football pitch at Rickman Hill Park where the kids play Football in the goals supplied by the council us up to your waist.
It's not good when kids can't use their local park.

If football pitches aren’t being kept cut then that certainly isn’t right. Not aware of that being the case in Central and East Croydon though.

I used to cut the verges in our road but I’ve changed my mind. The insects need them and it also helps with drought management.

Grass verges on ours, and surrounding roads, now approaching 3 ft tall.
1.5 billion debt will do that I guess.
Surprised the street lights are still on at night.

They might be on at the moment, when the grass gets up to the lights then they will switch them off and save even more money. Get their strategy!

I thought we were told mass immigration was going to make us a richer country.

As long as it's balanced with the needs of the public, recreation and so on. We need to be smart about how we use green spaces nowadays, as lord knows there aren't enough of them!

Balanced enough?

Yeah like big salary increases. Local councils are the worst when it comes to creaming off to line their own pockets. Got little time for them. Jaundiced tax spending cretins.

120 parks. Two an easy walk from me. Want me to do them all?

I took a look at Park Hill as I drove by yesterday, also looking lovely.
