We do need other positions filling especially a second striker however build from the back if teams cant score against you then tere is a chance of a pkint or 3. This must surely be an imperative as well as Sakho ? Both have to occur or our transfer window would look very lopsided. It would be like chopping your head off to save your private parts. If Leicester are in for him I think this will end up being a for gone conclusion ......source via twitter @dominking ( nw reporter for daily mail update on Mamadou Sakho: Leicester are the latest club to make an enquiry, happened today. Discuss Andros with us or watch us make your dealings with Liverpool very tough as we bid Sakho up. Just a thought....

If West Brom and Leicester are genuinely in for him, then his price won't be falling. Even if we get this over the line, delaying will not prove to have helped us.

Can we all just calm down a bit with the Sakho bid...he's NOT THE MESSIAH (nor is he just a naughty boy). Don't expect him to be the answer to all the issues we currently face. Also, is he actually fully fit at the moment? Lets be realistic. If he comes he'll be a welcome addition, one that will HELP, not cure the current squads woes, we still need a Keeper and and a Striker. Also should Townsend go to make the Sakho deal easier on the club then we'll need another winger!
