Great article. Love Fan Zhiyi, was a fantastic player for us. Shame his managerial career isn't working out as yet, but he's still young for a boss so plenty of time on his side.

Good article that and I enjoyed watching him during his spell here along with fellow countryman Sun Jihai,both hard workers.
I think at the time it was thought that their signings would open up another marketing venture in China,along with their contribution to the side.

Whilst they were indeed decent Players,merchandising wasn't great in China,so that never did quite work out.

 


........................Then along came Johnny Byrne! and the rest, as they say, is history.....................
