i have to say, i was heartened that all the marches i went on were about as mixed bunch as you could get, posh ladies in furs! old people close to death! people from all races... this issue has certainly challenged the steroetype of 'the marcher!'

Good job the Animal Liberation Front and the Euthansia mob weren't marching down the same street!

To be fair, I get on with most of that bunch. But every time I see or hear of any marches, it makes my blood boil as I think of those muppets.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Robin Cook on this statement though:

He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "President Clinton did enormous good for Britain, particularly in the Northern Ireland peace process where he was a great help, and we never gave him a state visit.

"What I can't understand is why we believe that President Bush has done more for Britain, has been a closer friend to Britain or supporter of Britain's foreign interests than any previous American president.

"If we are going to proceed with it, what we must now do is look for President Bush to demonstrate that this relationship is a two-way street."

I will try! I was going to add a flirtatious comment then, but we don't want any more chatting up Bexter threads!

The same pricks who despite me having by far the better eductaion, look down on me like I'm a piece of s*** because I don't share the same beliefs as them. So much for their liberal mentality.

Never the best word to misspell, Penge!

--------------------------------------------------

There is so much that hasn't been satisfactorily explained about the run up to the Iraq war: for example, proving the existence of WMDs.

Although the removal of Saddam Hussein was no bad thing, I'm still not convinced that this was a justified war based upon the evidence presented by the American and British governments. If they had said "we're going to oust Saddam Hussein on the basis of his acts of atrocity and the danger he may present to world peace" a lot more people would have got behind them. As it was, the USA and the UK stuck two fingers up at the U.N., thereby showing an arrogant disdain for the world community that beggared belief. Defying world opinion is the thin end of the wedge and we need to be very vigilant of how the USA proceed from now on.

Bush has become a major bully in the world playground and Blair's no more than his snotty sidekick. Their decisions have no only cost hundreds of lives but also billions of dollars, all on the back of some pretty flimsy secret service information. If I was a parent or spouse of one of the servicemen that had died in Iraq I'd certainly want a lot of questions answered. I certainly agree with any peaceful protest against Bush when he visits.

"You're lucky to be free!" Patronising c***.

Are there any pics of young Bexter?? - As Penge says there seems to be a lot of Bexter flirting going on. Is it the fact that she's one of the only female posters over 21 who's slightly more subtle than Lilly and Florence?

Have you thought about Kits-On.co.uk Bexter??

OK that's enough tone-lowering - go back to your grown-up threads. (Me and Jcreedy will discuss women and badgers elsewhere)

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?
