Having a beer with ex Plymouth player colin upton. 1976-1981. Malcolm Allison days. Played against Vince,swindlehurst etc. Having a very good discussion. Anyone got any photos or programme's from day. Cheers all.

If I am not mistaken, I think that Bobby Saxton replaced Allison as Plymouth manager.Bobby Moncur also managed Plymouth at about that time - I think !

Colin Upton was a Plymouth apprentice who played 3 league games only in 1978-9. They were in Div 3 then and we won Div 2 so they didn't play us that season. Big Mal was Argyle manager in 1978-9.

I suggest he may have played against Vince in a youth team game (Upton is a year younger) and maybe him & Swindle in the reserves. But that's only a maybe.
