I refer you to my previous post.

And I refer you to the fact they had no hassle at all until the referendum

This is not about the country being 'full' it's about people feeling they have a right to go 'minority bashing' just like in the good old days.

This is about the friction inevitably caused by mass immigration and if the referendum has been a catalyst for some less civilized people to react in this way than that is also a symptom of the wider problem.

Support the principal of multi culture if you wish but don't act all surprised by the results.

Did you honestly believe that people would just live happily together without incident?

Here is the fairytale

I just spoke to a couple of mates, she is Polish and came here 25 years ago, he is of Indian decent but born in Keighley.

All of sudden they are genuinely scared that their sons are being picked on because they 'look foreign'. Looking over their shoulders all the time. They were born and live in Cheam for goodness sake. Never had this before, something has changed. We have given licence to the most unpleasant elements in society.

I was genuinely shocked to hear this, I thought it was all a big fuss but apparently not. Things have REALLY changed.

This is very sad Maple and you are correct that this is a direct result of the referendum. One of my 'mates' (i was his best man) has also unveiled his true nasty side in the wake of the campaign. Tbh he was always a bit prejudiced but the rest of us which includes indians, irish and afro caribbeans just laughed at him. But recently he said to me that the uk had become a nanny state and that freedom of speech should mean that he should be allowed to call someone the 'n' word. Then when i told him that i saw 2 polish mothers whose kids play with mine at school crying and hugging each other on the friday morning after the leave vote, he said 'good, should have told em to go back to Poland, so that there jobs can be taken by english people'. The irony is hes a copper living in HK and his kids are half phillipino....but ofcourse he denies being rascist, or stupid or hypocritical.
I never thought i would see the day in the uk when fascism had become mainstream although we should be reminded of the 1930s when we had the british union of fascists and the Daily Mail supported Hitler...who co-incidentally was similarly inciting the German people that there housing and food shortages was because of 'sub humans' e.g jews, slavs, gypsies and gays...and foreign influences who had undermined the true germanic people.
This does not apply to all leave voters but for those who are closet rascist (which is now manifesting itself) it has given them licence to be more open about it. They cant see the hate in their own hearts and just continue to blame immigrants for all of their failed life choices.....truly sad....and my 'mate' suffers from anxiety and depression, perhaps he wouldnt if he wasnt such a nasty piece of work.

So the referendum has turned Britain into Nazi Germany and most Leavers are racists.

I think you need a lie down.

Is it more likely that you voted remain and are now trying to justify that decision to yourself with this ridiculous gross exaggeration of the facts?

Its not that much of an exaggeration; these things are happening every day! Most leavers are not overtly racist, but plenty have taken the referendum result as justification for their long-held beliefs.

We were a tolerant nation, now we are less so. That is a fall out of the referendum result, we have become diminished as a nation in my view.

I don't think there is any problem justifying voting Remain Hrolf. Everything the Remain politicians said would happen immediately after a Brexit vote appears to have happened and more.

And a lot more will happen as they said over the next few years; we are in for a very rocky time economically for at least 5 years. Maybe not a problem if you are in your 20's, but for the rest of us it's potentially a nightmare!

What is obvious is, is that some don't like being associated with certain others even though they have common ground.

' I agree with you and part of me is the same as you but, at the same time, I want nothing to do with you'

More and more talk I notice of us potentially joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership. We're easy pickings to sign up to something like that now that we're looking to find our feet again. The irony that we'll have stepped out of a political union and into one where corporations can sue whole nations if their results disappoint will no doubt be lost on people.

This was always going to happen. It has nothing to do with the referendum result.
