Most people will have seen the media reports about the Cass report. Depending on your viewpoint some will cheer and some will cry foul. What I find particular worrying is the refusal of 6 of the 7 NHS trusts to co-operate with the inquiry. Given the lack of clinical data around how successful or not these procedures are I find it staggering that they can block releasing the data. The Health Secretary has now ordered them to hand it over, well we will see if they do. If not who ever is blocking it should be sacked, we need the truth which ever way the cards fall.

Those responsible should be charged with child abuse. The Tavistock Clinic was known locally as Frankenstein's Castle.

Health Secretary Victoria Atkins says she has had "enough" of a "culture of secrecy and ideology" around gender care for children. I would suggest the refusal to release information and the references to 'secrecy and ideology' are a result of all this being entirely ideologically based and therefore unable to stand up to science and logic. It's quite astonishing how it's all been allowed to flourish and the potential damage to so many, a large proportion of whom are children, that has been allowed to take place. I wonder how many will claim they 'were just doing their job'.

If medical staff have nothing to hide surely they would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate that they made good clinical decisions and that their patients were mostly leading happy and productive lives. I’ve posted before that 15-20 years is the point that most regret from transition happens. Suicide being higher in trans than normal society pro rata.

They were just following orders. It is going to cost the NHS (ie: the taxpayer) millions over the coming years in malpractice claims. It just shows how deranged the current left is in supporting the mutilation of mentally vulnerable children. Those on here who have supported the likes of Tavistock have now gone quite I see.

I have no more inside knowledge than anyone else but my experience of all clinicians is that they always want the best outcomes for those they serve, their patients. Therefore my instinct is that they would support without question an enquiry like the Cass report which attempts to objectively analyse current knowledge and establish best practice. It follows then that there must be some over-riding reason why they felt the requested data could not be released. My guess being for reasons of confidentiality which had the potential to compromise their patients. It’s sad to see politicians pandering to media engineered outrage rather than stepping back and quietly trying to discover what lies behind the refusal.

Alongside how trans can’t resist telling the world about their transition.

Sure and my guess is that they are covering up a disaster. Nobody is asking for names addresses and telephone numbers. You simply redact the patient details and call them patient A B or C etc. The NHS provides redacted data on most of us to outside parties such as pharmaceutical companies or for research purposes. There is no excuse for withholding it and in fact it may well help the Trans cause by proving that most patients have transitioned successfully. Withholding this data which is treatment paid for by our taxes will only lead people to suspect there is something to hide.

They may have a nice dick or titties but mentally trans are not happy a high proportion of the time.
