One for the older fans really, but I discovered a great YouTube channel called ‘UK Retro Football Classics’

It’s literally got every televised Palace game from the 70’s, including the great cup run of 76. You have to scroll through a lot of other great stuff from that era, but for someone like myself who started going in the 70’s and remembers the excitement of seeing the TV camera’s being at Selhurst, it really is worth it and a great trip down memory lane. Some of them are not great quality, but still worth a watch

It sounds ideal for one such as me from the class of '72, but I know I will cry (again) on seeing us lose to Southampton at Stamford Bridge. I still haven't got over it!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I sat through that among others last night, I was there, but don’t remember much about it as it was only my second away game, my first was the Chelsea game which I definitely sat through again last night. The pain of the semi didn’t really hit me like other older fans I think, because I was just so proud to be there whatever the result
