Palace shirt?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knew anything about this shirt? It in every ways appears to be the away shirt from 1989 but missing one obvious thing… no palace badge! Is it a recreation or maybe just a copy of style? Thanks if anyone can help, James.

Just a weird memory, but didn't you have to iron on the badge in the past sometimes? Or sew on? Some would just fall off too - they weren't integral to the shirts on replicas.

That would make sense, it’s the year before I was born so I don’t have expert knowledge at all. All other indications point to it being a palace shirt except the badge.

Whilst it was very common in the seventies for shirts not to have the club badge on them, this was certainly not the case by 1990. The original of this shirt would have had the club badge although they were not embroidered but almost ironed on. Yours may have have come off in the wash! Here is a copy of the original shirt with club badge.
