I think that is excactly the case, expensive stand, expensive tickets, 5000 empty seats, realize what we are, a small club, punching above our weight, because, we have a chairman who saved the club and has managed to keep us in the premier league longer than only 8 other teams, give him the credit he deserves.

Precisely what I was getting at. I couldn't have put it better myself.

Blimey that’s a stat I didn’t know, that’s excellent really when you think this day and age the big 6 are never going to get relegated.

Yes, the big 6, Everton and the Spammers by one year

It’s typical of football crowds, the more you give them the more they want. The more they get ,the more they expect to get for ever more. If the hand that feeds this frenzy fails to satisfy their insatiable appetite, they will bite that hand.

Everton was obvious, but I was guessing either Spammers, villa or Newcastle. It surprised me it was that long ago Big Sam took the spammers up, but then the 10 years since we’ve been promoted has flown by

10 years in the premier league and Parish is the problem.

Everton have invested massively in the last few years in players and managers and look at the them the last 2 years.

Cant win with supporters these days.

As for an expanded stadium. I seen large parts of selhurst empty on saturday for a 3pm saturday london derby game. we delude ourselves somtimes thinking we will fill a bigger stadium.

We play to a sold out crowd every league game. There is a waiting list for season tickets. The only spare seats are (under PL rules) not allowed to be sold off untill the week of the game. These are mainly disabled seating or a percentage of away seats, or whatever. If you saw empty seats for the Fulham game blame the fans that have season tickets there but didn't turn up not the club. Suggesting watching Palace is undesirable is inaccurate. The waiting list for season tickets testifies to this.

Season ticket holders can re-sell thier tickets if they cannot make a game.

My personal opinion we will never fill a 30,000+ seater stadium. we are a small club with a small fan base.

How would you know Lanzo, you don’t even have to pay for Sky in the local bar in the Canaries let alone a ticket.

I can tell you from recent experience, as a gold member, apart from a handful of single seats, the Forest game sold old within about 10 minutes of tickets going on sale. Thankfully I was militant enough to get them. They wouldn’t have reached normal members.

As others have said, we also have a waiting list for season tickets. We currently sell our every home game. My view is we’d sell 30,000 for most games and 35,000 for the big ones.

I know we sell out because usually when I try to buy a ticket from the box office direct I can never get one. The stadium needs expanding desperately.

Just looked on the website and again, apart from single tickets, All of Forest, Spurs and Everton are sold out.

For those that think Parish isn’t the problem, who was the one that spaffed 20 million quid on a goalkeeper when we needed a right back and a striker?

I have the choice to watch every game at home or go to the bar, for 60Eur a year, you can easily find the ticket prices on a thing called the internet

That’s getting so boring now!! I wish I had a pound for every time the right back and striker situation has been brought up. Yes it might not be a decision or decisions you and many others agree with, myself included actually, but looking at the financial plight and demise of other clubs and how financially sound and competing in the premier league we are, does two or three player decisions we don’t agree with really make him a bad owner?
