Also, well done Edouard. Gets a lot of stick but does what a striker is supposed to do, doesn't matter if they are a bit scrappy. Just think where we would be with out his 6 goals out of our fine total of 14 thus far?

I am content with a point and in my humble opinion the draw was a reflection of the overall play.

Finally a fellow Roy hater. Bravo .

To be fair, I don’t hate him but I’ve never liked his tactics wherever he has managed and I’ve never made a secret of that.

I agree with many that Hodgson has reverted back to type.

Today’s game was, as always, the playing seemingly for a 0-0 with the hope we may nick a goal from wherever anyone can guess from. As it happened, we let them walk one in and they set up our equaliser for the desired result.

Previously, it almost seemed felt as though this was the only option as beyond Wilf we offered nothing. Now however, when we’re seeing the likes of Franca and Ahamada being left on the bench whilst Hughes trots about the pitch looking 58 years old only to be replaced by Riedewald, for us to eek out a boring 1-1 draw, our being boring, uninspiring and generally quite depressing to watch starts to run out of justification.

I’d suggest we have the players there for better, and that’s whilst having an almost completely ineffective transfer strategy.

My only hope is we bring someone in soon to officially retire Roy, and spend some money on players to support them. Beyond that, I’m guessing it’s ’aim for 17th with anything better a bonus’. Happy with a point, still very concerned by performance.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Well yeah for sure I don’t hate the guy, I’m just against his way of football. He’s been a great manager for us at times, but it’s football and he ain’t producing. It’s coming poss after Xmas break but he will get sacked

All this talk about playing Franca suggests that posters on here see him train week in, week out, and also have experience of competing in top flight football.

I've only seen Franca once personally, at Selhurst, and he was a f***ing random generator, tilted towards doing more harm than good.

Hopefully he'll be a cracking player in time, but a point at West ham with the injuries we've got isn't to be sniffed at, and the idea that Roy should roll the dice because we are bored is f***ing mind blowing. He'll play when the manager, who wants to win far more than any of us by the way, thinks he's more likely to be helpful than not.

The nail on the head.

I thought, considering what was available, that was a more than respectable performance and point.

I thought Hughes was poor today ,Richards is extremely one paced and is never a midfielder, Ayew put in a good shift , the central defence was rock solid , and Olise had a few moments but my MOTM was Lerma , who i thought had his best match so far for us. I also thought if we had two out of Schlup, Eze or Dacoure available we would have won

Lerma?!?!

Really? He was poor. Very poor

I thought it was a decent performance, 9 shots each, similar %, West ham had one player missing we had 5, 2 key players, if i was a West Ham Fan i would be more worried than we should be, Franca is 19, on a 5 year deal, he could be worth 80m this time next year, have some patience, we need 2/3 premier standard players on loan in Jan, no point in spending money until we know who is Manager next year, Guehi will go in the summer so money hopefully for whoever the new man is, Hendersen will replace Johnstone next season, who will leave probably about 30m, i am one of the few half glass filled style of Fan, should have bought Semenyo though 9m, Bournemouth got a bargain.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Haha, you never ever see any wrong. On the basis we can only improve the team by two players at best, that is a very rosy picture of what is going on. We are probably two more injuries away from putting out a relegation quality team. We are so thin on the ground, it’s the weakest depth squad we’ve had for a while despite the best 11 being amongst the best starting 11s we’ve had.

Hodgson has had to revert back to type otherwise with this squad we would lose every week. Not sticking up for him but we have no other experienced players available at this time. A draw today is great but in truth if we had Doucoure and Eza we probably would have won. The trouble is, we should have players to replace them of a better quality than we have. I fear for us against Bournemouth with our makeshift midfield as they would have beaten westham today on present form and with westham having played on Thursday night. Hopefully I’m wrong?
