A defeat tonight to Chelsea and the cries for the manager to be shown the door will reach a crescendo. There will be more eruptions than that associated with Vesuvius.

Win, I’ll be happy. Lose, it won’t bother me too much as it will speed up Roy’s departure. A draw probably the worst result all round.

Won't need too many then - Vesuvuis has only errupted about 8 times since the 'big one' in Roman times....

I know it’s Chelsea and worth a fortune etc but it is also a very young inexperienced side. They should be worried just as much about -laying us with Eze and Olise starting. First 20 mins is crucial

One of their subs is young Leo Castledine whose mother is 'Homes under the Hammer' presenter Lucy Alexander.I recall his father, Stewart Castledine, playing for Wimbledon and Wycombe Wanderers. It was Lawrie Sanchez who signed him for the Bucks club.

Really poor goal to concede, coming from a slip of course.

Why is it that even in a game where we are being proactive we always look the more lackadaisical and error prone side?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

For a defence minded team we are pretty poor at the back. They have had two attacks in the first 14 minutes. The first was almost a goal, the second was a goal.

Indeed Becky but why?

Also, time for an old school moan here, someone explain the f**king offside rule to JPM and get it in his thick skull that he needs to pay attention. It’s as far from rocket science as could be.

Is it that he's expecting the early ball and times it all wrong? Something that should be sorted on the training ground.
