I find myself just waiting for the news alert he has been sacked.

Same. Roy has got to go after yesterday. I’ve never been this apathetic as a fan in all my 29 years as a supporter, but something has to change.

Roy has managed to do what no other Palace manager has in the last 45 years, make me not care. This is the worst thing any manager can do.

It has been well documented on HOL that I have been an avid supporter of our club since the 60s but even I considered NOT attending the Sheff Utd game, have not looked forward to a game at Selhurst Park for some time and I cannot guarantee I will take my seat again this season.

I do sense that there is a growing band of supporters who desire a change of manager.

If Roy had any love for Palace he should walk into the Chairman’s office, have the balls to say it’s not working and resign.

If Parish then refuses to accept such a resignation then more the fool him. I seriously think the atmosphere at the next couple of home games is going to be awful if he doesn’t go and as many have said, Vieira went for less as have many of our previous managers.

When Roy comes on after the match and says the team (including management) are doing their best and conceding after 3 mins and the injuries are the main reason, he is deluding himself and all of us. Conceding yet again to a set piece shows that any analysis of goals conceded comes up with no solution. Where is our specialist on set piece organisation? If we have one then they are underperforming. Similarly if we could take advantage of OUR set pieces (JA the most fouled PL player) we could put matches to bed a lot earlier e.g. Sheff Utd.
None of our centre backs command the area so the solution is not stand there and hope you can outjump the opposition. It takes organisation, positioning, marking, blocking. Dunk gave Anderson the slightest nudge and a free header. For Hinshelwood's header the smallest guy on the pitch gets above an outnumbered Mitchell. That shouldn't happen as Hinshelwood should be accompanied by Palace's marker (if there is one). Even the situation was not new as Hinshelwood showed earlier in the season when he was not tracked. Clearly our players are not taking this on board, why? Because opponents are not analysed? Because they forget? Clearly Roy cannot therefore say all are doing their best. Coming up soon are Everton who attack set pieces like there is no tomorrow. If there is not organisation before then we are again doomed.
Every team has injuries and needs to put players in who are not like for like. To lose 2/3 of our stars is hard but to listen to Roy you would think we go on the field with 8/9 men. Those remaining must step up along with those coming in and Roy should not be giving the team a ready made excuse to fail.
Of course I can rant but nothing will happen hence the legitimate frustration from supporters and those displaying banners have to get through.

How has he not gone yet? What will it take?

I go into every game emotionless, expecting nothing, Even under Pardew we still had the ability to score goals, even though we'd concede more but the narrative is "Roy makes us hard to beat" HOW??? it's easy, just press us. That's it. Luton Town are a much better team than we are...He has an obvious agenda against Franca is plain to see. Putting Olise on when we are 3-0 down when he would know as we know he is fragile at the moment was f***ing criminal and deserves to go just on that as that braindead decision has jeopardised our remaining season. I am so angry. I cannot support this man anymore. Should of gone end of last season on a high and he is ruining any respect and good feeling he has at this club. I don't post often but had to say how I felt to other Palace fans as I don't know many where I live. Please Roy, Just GO as Parish clearly hasn't the spine to do it.

Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha

Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years.

He won’t though because he is a horrible arrogant pathetic man. His just very good at make the press think his nice. Disgusting the way he treats players like Franca and any young players. Never wanted a manager sacked as much as I do that clueless vulture. Never rated him and hated him the first time round hate him even more now

Perhaps, because Luton wacked Brighton 4-0 Roy thought it was going to be easy for us yesterday. So, Roy got complacent with his starting line-up. Same management thinking we are in no hurry for a new manager and players as we are safe with Everton and Forest getting points deducted.

I just can’t believe he hasn’t already gone - either sacked or by his own volition.

Roy’s arrogance and stubbornness clearly knows no bounds..!!

Enough is enough now - Roy is hanging around like a bad smell now - and it stinks..!!

Bet Victor have him as even money to be the next Premier League manager sacked.

Quite long odds under the circumstances but may suggest there's not that much going on the background.

Who comes in ?

The next two fixtures are at home to Chelsea and away to Everton.
I recall two famous home victories to Chelsea - the Pulis team with the John Terry own goal and the Hodgson team with Zaha and Townsend as two up front.
Both were terrific committed performances and the victories were well merited.
I’m not being unduly negative, but sadly I cannot see the current team hitting such levels , even against a Chelsea team that is far from the other level of the teams we faced on those two previous occasions.
We also have to acknowledge that if Everton wanted to choose a team to face at present , Palace would be high on the list.
Weak on set pieces and crosses, lacking aggression all over the field and absence of leaders.
So….if we take no points from the next two games does Roy go then?
It’s possible to continue to prevaricate and find reasons to delay, but sometimes it’s just better to lance the boil.
If he’s not started the process already, Parish should be sounding out alternatives.
At the moment we just seem to be postponing the inevitable even though I’m sure the club would like to see Roy see out the season.

I'll put it this way, it was us against Brighton, and it was the first time I didn't follow that match for forty years. I knew full well what kind of line up was going out - I presume everyone in the entire world did too.
As for set-pieces, let's not bother working on them still as Roy doesn't like them. CEO has to step in and say goodbye before the protests start in earnest.
