Do we expect Roy to be incharge against Sheff Utd, and do we expect any new signings to be playing in that game.

Good question Lanzo me ol mucker , I am going to say no and no . Bassed on the line Parish came out with live on Sky whe the Dutch bloke was in charge and the day before he was sacked , Steve was asked by the reporter " Steve Is the managers job in jeopardy if he doesn't get a win this weekend? to which Steve replied Frank's not stupid he knows its a results bassed job and if you're not gettig the results the you are going to lose your job , the next day he was sacked . We all know Steve is a man of his word as Wilf will tell you ... and im sure Roy is up there now if not worse than FDB and Vs points tally . Please correct me if im wrong .

Can you promise that MORE fans will WANT to come to watch us? That at the moment is at best fanciful.

People love a good soap opera!

Also, there is a waiting list for STs but I've no idea how long it is. In any event, Hodgson WON'T be here next season whichever league we are in.

If we're quoting Steve Parish, he also said back in 2015 that he believed Palace could win the Premier League in the '' next 10-15 years ''.

I think Hodgson will still be in charge for the Sheffield United game.

With respect Evan Ferguson was signed from Bohemians.

In terms of Beighton, when one considers their current squad, the only players who have progressed from the academy are Jack Hinshelwood and Lewis Dunk.

Brighton have signed a number of players from abroad for insignificant sums in PL terms :

Mitoma £2.5 Mill, Buonanotte £10 Mill, Adingra £8 Mill, Enciso £11.5 Mill, Moder £6 Mill, Dahoud Free, Mac Allister £7 Mill, Caicedo £4.5 Mill, Bissouma £15 Mill, Cucurella £15 Mill etc etc.

Which is 1 more than we currently have in our team, if you can call Mitchell a success!

Look at the players you listed who are either doing well in their team or been sold for a big profit. That is something that we don’t do and if we sell Olise and or Guehi where are the replacements coming from to not only perform to a PL standard but kick on. Again no recruitment plan!

S'ok, he's missed one, Valentin Barco from Boca Jnr 19yo winger.

I think our present problems are a result of a series of bad decisions made last summer.

* the assumption that Zaha was going to stay . My suggestion of giving him a deadline to make up his mind was not met with widespread enthusiasm on here, but he left at the eleventh hour and the club failed to replace him. It was also known at that time that Olise had an injury likely to keep him out for some time
* the assumption that the squad had sufficient depth of quality. Far from having Top Ten potential, the more pertinent question would be to gauge if it was enough to even achieve our usual mid table spot. Factor in a couple of inevitable injuries….
* the signings of Henderson and Franca. Henderson still makes little sense to me. Could we not have identified a decent back up for Johnstone without eating so much into our limited transfer budget ? Franca looks like one for the future, but not for the now. Forget the hefty transfer fee, if he had come through the Academy would you not be thinking, has potential but raw and not ready yet ?
It all feeds into a lack of coherent and structured approach to player recruitment and fee developing strategy.
* re-appointing Roy. To me that was a Red Flag as to the extent of this seasons ambition. I think this is one of those “ weak decisions “ referred to yesterday at the Emirates. As Roy said, ultimately it’s the manager that carry’s the can for poor results and while I don’t hold him solely responsible for our predicament, he’s appearing increasingly like somebody that wants his future decided for him. Which leaves Parish in a position that I’m sure he didn’t want to be in, trying to find a new manager in mid season.

The club feels like a ship without a captain at the moment. A real lack of inspirational leadership on and off the field.

I think the problems start at the top, at Board level. So the what next should start there too, but more likely it won’t. It’s more likely to be a new manager. But I suspect that once again we will be appointing someone that was not first choice but who is available.

I entirely agree with what you say. I’m surprised, but I do!

Signed a few days ago for a sum close to £8 Mill.
I am told he is versatile, able to play in a few positions.

I am also told that Brighton have an impressive Psychology and Well-Being setup designed to help players released by the academy, to settle-in the young players signed from abroad and to provide other support on an on-going basis.I believe this is just part of the role.

I was talking to a Liverpool supporter over the Christmas break who was telling me that the waiting list for season tickets at Anfield is estimated to be 100 years, because families that have season tickets just renew them under the family name & pass them down through the generations.

I have no idea what our season ticket waiting list looks like, I added a mate to the list at the start of the season &havent heard anything since, maybe I will over the summer, especially if things go south.

Mr Parish is another in a long line of owners who missleads the fans, stays quiet when the going gets tough, sending out positive and inaccurate messages when it's not.
His main aim is for the club to stay solvent regardless and until the boardroom split is solved or anyone else comes in with the money or ambition, we are stuck with this situation.
Keeping Roy in charge for the foreseeable will hamper efforts in the window I fear, as who is going to come and want to be part of Royball ??
