We have been without key players for much of the season. All we have to do is finish above three other teams.
If we win tomorrow, we are still on course to do that.
When Olise and Ayew return we will be better.

The reason for the poor form is barely anything to do with the injuries it’s the constant same tactics, squads, and game management of the clown in charge. We made hard work of beating a very very poor injury hit Brentford team. We still have players that are left out after having a good game and players put in the squad that are clearly not good enough. I can guarantee I can tell you every game what tactics and squad Roy is gonna play. He has no plan b or any level of game management. Any division he manages in he will finish more often than not mid table at very best because every decent manager can predict what he is going to do. As for this being the best time for a palace fan. Even Pardew era was a bit better than this. Regarding signings at most I reckon we will get a loan deal and maybe 1 actual signing. What is the point. All Hodgson does is play his underperforming favourite. Can’t stand parish but don’t blame him for not giving him any money to spend as all Hodgson will do is keep them on the bench. The blokes is destroying most of our players and our club as a whole

i hear you Eagle. Personally, i took the Arsenal defeat on the chin. No big deal losing to title candidates in their own backyard....just after a difficult trip to Everton.

Sheffield is a must win for us. And we will win it. And the win will buy Roy a couple more weeks of confidence. Regarding the statement above calling Roy a clown ? did you forget Viera ?

That’s just not true is it. There is no doubt that injuries have contributed to our below par performances.
We can debate Roy’s tactics all day, but no manager can win games without game winning players.
I would ask why we spent 25 million on a luxury player who was not ready for the Premier League and did not bolster the squad where it was clearly needed.

Given that, we would still struggle without Doucoure and Olise against top sides.
Beside that, sometimes you can just play teams when they are in a run of form. Luck plays a part.
