0-2

I think we will play well in this one and we will be scratching our heads, but sadly we are laying a top 6 side and we don't win many of those, even when the other side are rubbish.

You'd think that we have to tighten up at the very least. Score? Not so sure. Maybe lose around 3-1 with them scoring late and putting a gloss on the scoreline.

We will make Chelsea look like world beaters 0-2. This will show how far we are falling behind and they are s***!

In our first (and second longest) run in the top division we played for 4 years without beating a single London club and our last chance before relegation was against Chelsea and against all the odds we won 2-0. Not sure what to think!

Can't help but feel this will most likely the nail in the coffin or possibly a huge spanner in the works.

I remember the Cabaye/Wilf 2-1 years ago (2017??) which kick started our revival in Roy's first spell. I'm struggling to see that happening Monday and it may well just be a demonstration of how dire our strait is. I'm braced for 0-5.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

2-1 to Chelsea again. They have better players, are better at cheating and we are mentally not up for it!
Fans could make a big difference but sadly won’t help at all.

Palace fans better get behind their team.

At the moment, they are worth a goal to the opposition.

It seems apparent that vast swathes of our supporters are totally disillusioned with the club at the present time with no bonhomie directed towards Mr Hodgson or the Board.
Their patience has been exhausted on account of only 1 win the last 12 PL games, only 2 home PL wins all season and entertainment at a premium.
Negativity and unrest abounds.

Two players that I expect to make the difference for Chelsea are Tiago Silva (at both ends) and Gallagher. Chelsea might be a mess but those two I think will drag then over the line. JPM on a good run and may get another goal, but I think we'll lose 1-2. Easier to predict is our starting lineup and Roy's post-match comments if we lose.

Would be great if everyone can get behind the team, even if the situation is dire. Roy and the board know how the fans feel, now it's time to focus on supporting the team, even if we disagree with some of the decisions.

We will obviously lose and concede at least one goal from a set piece.
This isn’t being negative, just realistic.
We have no one available who can be creative. We have a CB in Anderson who has no interest and a goalkeeper, well he makes Wayne Hennessy look good.
Roy will watch vacantly at the shambles on the pitch.
Am I wrong?

Chelsea are 0-2 up at villa and villa are fielding a very strong side.

Let’s hope villa claw there way back, take it to extra time, really tight and stressful game which Chelsea lose on penalties and it knocks the stuffing out of them. They are knackered and heads down as it’s the end of any chance of silverware.
If they get a few knocks along the way to key players, even better.

We will have had a nice long break. May just give us a chance.

Here’s hoping.
