A 0-0 ‘clean sheet’ would be a great result given our recent defensive difficulties.

Possible if Johnson is reinstated in goal rather than poor old Henderson, whose confidence must be shattered after letting in so many of late.

I don't receive a running commentary of events at the club.
I very much suspect that Paddy McCarthy will be in charge against Everton and that there will no management announcement until Mr Hodgson is out of hospital and on the mend.

Are you sure Willo?!
Looks like you are spot on this one as you are with many topics.
Just hope Glasner is announced tomorrow so he can officially make a start. Although it sounds like he is already looking in.
My German pals speak very highly of him.

Apparently we've got both Jadan Raymond and Franco Umeh at Everton tonight.
Hopefully Johnston will be starting.

I doubt the inclusion on the coach of the first two will cause Everton any pre-match nerves.
If I see Henderson walk onto the pitch with the team I will be truly baffled, and depressed.

I'm hoping for a surprisingly good show from Palace tonight but I can't get rid of a niggling feeling that Sean Dyche has the measure of us.

I know all matches are important now but this one is pivotal. An Everton win and a reduction in their 10 point penalty will make our situation hazardous.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

The basic issue is we struggle against direct play and balls into the box. We struggle with set pieces. Those are at the heart of the way Everton play.
When Everton struggle is when teams attack them and pin them back. They lack creativity and can concede from quick passing moves. The issue there is that that isn't how we play.
It's kind of hard to envisage us changing overnight.

Both teams struggle enough to score so we can perhaps luck/tough out a draw. Maybe 0-0 when you consider the cup games.

Without making any predictions, surely the law of averages means we will score from a corner?! Feels like the Quest for the Holy Grail now.

Everton are rubbish. They've only won once in 11 games and the mugs they beat on that occasion were... Oh, Palace.

2-1 Everton. We take the lead and then concede in the 81st and 93rd minutes, one of which is a Calvert-Lewin header.
