Mateta looks a bit sluggish IMHO and if sharper could have had two or three opportunities to score or cause a score. With Johnstone in goal it feels like the team is more confident and steady and he mad a GREAT save. Eze looks like he's got two left feet but needs this outing. A very positive 0-0 first half. Palace more positive than Spurs about the first half.

My observation is we are crying out for a bit of pace up front. Really think Franca could have some joy. Not too bothered with the stats, so far spurs not really doing any damage but that can change in a blink. And we were al absolutely right to want SJ back in goal.

Yea not the best first half ive ever seen , SJ pulled off a worldie save from Werner , one on one with him , if it waas Hendo in i would have put money on it being a goal . Solid enough in defence , lacking up front and the Ref is giving us nothing but thats nothing new . A hell of a lot of off sides . No Roy ball though . Id be happy with a point . I'd love to slap the taste out of Maddisons mouth .
