I still have severe doubts about Henderson however could not fault another man out there tonight and that was a starting XI without Johnstone, Guehi, Doucoure, Lerma or Olise.

Absolutely superb performance and result yet again. Falling back in love once more. Well done the lads, thank the footballing gods for Ollie G and COYP!!!

I didn't know Textor is a god!
We are on fire.

We’re 6th in the form table.,Ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham. Who would have thought that was possible after the B mouth game

That was as good as the Liverpool performance tonight, I can’t call a man of the match, the whole team deserve it.

Hughes and Wharton are a wonderful combination, surely hughes and mateta get new deals this summer.

I keep repeating it but Wharton and Munoz, as good as January signings I’ve ever seen.

Credit to Clyne as a centre back, he is like our own Kyle walker with the pace he recovers , never beaten.

To add… olise on the bench for this one, well done Ayew, best performance in many many weeks.

Glasner and his coaching team are the real deal, let’s enjoy the ride

Magnifique! Sleep well tonight

I had to watch a live stream as couldn't get there tonight.
What a game, what an impressive and controlling performance.
Our fitness is so improved - sorry Roy but what a difference.
Players know the system, round pegs in round holes and players improving all over the field.
Hughes and Mateta have come on leaps and bounds.
Well played Palace - a top display.

Unbelievable the transformation, sharper, quicker, more movement and energy, moving the ball around quicker, not giving the opposition time on the ball.
I think while other teams are flagging after a long season, we’ve been revitalised by injuries coming back, a couple of excellent signings and of course the new gaffer

We couldn’t beat a team in the top half not so long ago, we’ve now beaten three on the trot and totally outclassed two of them

Happy days

Same players .... Different team!

It is night and day and in such a relatively short timespan ... what was looking like a really tough final run in, is now opportunity. Bring it on!

Just watched replay this morning. Pressing from Palace in first half was very good especially given the limited preparation and recovery time after the West Ham game. I thought we were on top but could not create any really good chances. In fact towards the end of the 1/2 we looked like we were tiring a bit and i think Izak's chance was the best of the half and i was fearing we would get over run in the second half.
Some how we kept going and took our chances when they came - loved the cushioned lay off by Ayew. Was surprised the Newcastle penalty appeal was not given but i thought we also could have one for a foul i think on Mateta not longer after.
Most impressive part for me was the pressing and out ability to win the ball back. Thought Wharton, Munoz, and Hughes excelled in this part of our play.

Buzzing this morning. Can’t remember seeing us play better for a full game than last night. Still not really having Henderson , he hesitates too much, but he was great at anfield.
Considering the level of Newcastle players , I think the best 11 players out there were our 10 outfield players and izak.
Great great performance. We were quicker, stronger, better, more aggressive than them , all over the pitch. We seem so much fitter and glasner getting another 20/30% out of each player.
Mitchell improving massively, as a wingback.
Mateta striking the ball so cleanly.
But Eze was pure filth last night. Absolutely unplayable when he’s in that mood.
We’ve watched so much turgid, boring sh*t last few years, but last night is the reason we go footbal.
Great great night.

Even lil ol Mitchell came out of his shell a few times tonight going forwards. The kid is improving his attacking game. I think his defensive stats are right up there already.

The Wharton ball across the park to him near the end. Defender just got his head to it.
That would have been some goal but geez this team is so improved.
Glad I got my ST for next year. Can’t wait for it now

What a find OG has been. It is like I’m supporting a different team. I cannot believe how much better we are compared to just a few weeks ago. I dont want to get carried away but I’m actually looking forward to next season now. We have just ticked over for so long I’d forgotten how it feels to be positive.

I bet Liverpool are kicking themselves that they never looked at OG as Klopps replacement.

Well done to all involved in bringing him, Wharton and Munoz in. Genius.
