The Eagles boss will stick with a midfield of Michael Hughes, Ben Watson, Jobi McAnuff and Aki Riihilahti.

Winger Marco Reich and defender Tony Popovic could get a place on the bench after recovering from foot and back injuries respectively.

Ipswich players Alan Lee, Scott Barron and Jason De Vos all hope to have shaken off knocks to feature.

Midfielders Ian Westlake and Jimmy Juan are definitely out injured. Fabian Wilnis will replace the suspended Richard Naylor.

It's a very difficult one this week - not because there is so much quality to pick from, but because there are no stand out players.

Ricardo Fuller would have been one to watch but he's gone back to the south coast, 'Bam Bam' Naylor would have been another one, but he's suspended and bar Forster and Parkin up front, they don't have much at all.

Their midfield lacks the quality to make much of a difference in a game. They can pass the ball well but they lack any sort of quality to thread balls through, run at defences or score spectacular goals.

I'm not saying that this will be a walkover, because it won't. Ipswich are one of those teams that allow you to play football which is where we could capitalise.

They're defence is down to the bare bones as well.

Parkin has been 'round the houses in the lower leagues after starting his career at Chelsea. He's a big, strong Centre Forward with a bit of pace to burn and will look to mix things up in our defence.

The Roehampton born number 9 is currently Town's top goalscorer with 5 goals. If our defence stay switched on, we'll get through the game without embarrassment.
