Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"We haven’t played well the last four games so we want to turn it around and put some performances in. It will test the squad and we still need one or two bodies."

Paul Sturrock

"I want to do well and I know I can do well but at this juncture I am frustrated and annoyed and angry with myself and with others. This club cannot afford to be relegated.

"There will be many changes for Tuesday and I call upon the fans to turn up and whether we're bad, good or indifferent to back us right through the 90 minutes.

"The three points are vitally important. Never will Paul Sturrock walk away from a challenge and, my God, have I got a challenge.

"Neil Warnock and I have tussled many a time. I enjoy his company and he's a good lad. From three o'clock to five o'clock we are both different beasts. But before and after the game, I'm sure we will have a wee chinwag and a wee laugh together."

One to watch

Paul Gallagher

Gallagher is currently on loan at Plymouth from Blackburn. He's also had stints on loan at Stoke and Preston.

Gallagher is a pretty similar player to Craig Beatie. He likes to drop deep to hold the ball up and bring others into play and he also pulls wide to try and create openings.

He has a couple of good feet on him with a touch of pace. His best position seems to be behind the front man where he can create or pop through a defence. He notched up a good 12 goals for Stoke last season.
