Young defender Ryan Inniss has moved to Cheltenham Town on a month's loan.
The promising 18-year-old will gain vital experience at the League Two club who are bidding for a successive place in the play-offs.
The 6ft 5ins centre half has captained England at various youth levels and is tipped for the Eagles first team.
Town boss Mark Yates said: "He's a bit of a man-mountain and he's highly thought of. He's been on our radar for six months now and he really wants to play. We're delighted we managed to get him.
"It's going to be a tough league this year but I think we've got players who can adapt. We've tried to recruit better players and pleased with the progress we've made. Hopefully they'll come good."
