League Cup

Crystal Palace head to the Bescot Stadium this evening to play Walsall in the Capital One Cup.

Tuesday 26th August KO 7.45pm at the Bescot Stadium

The Eagles will be in search of a much needed win after losing their first two games of the season.

Keith Millen will continue to take charge of the team, with the help of Gerry Francis.

Joe Ledley and Scott Dann will have late fitness tests after not featuring at Selhurst Park at the weekend in the defeat to West Ham.

A challenge by West Ham's Mauro Zarate on Stuart O'Keefe has also sidelined the midfielder for this evening's game, so Millen has brought in Owen Garvan into the squad to replace him.

Walsall defender Ben Purkiss is back in training after an ankle injury, but is unlikely to feature.

James O'Connor could play after missing three games with a groin strain.
