As I have already posted once in this thread why not wait until the window closes before crucifying the bloke.

I have long been one of his harshest critics but at least I like to wait until it is warranted. Parish isn't stupid and has seen our struggles in front of goal so far this season so I can't see him NOT forking out for a striker

Why do we wait three weeks into the season to buy our players? Who else does that? Are Brentford or Brighton in better financial positions than us? 11 years in the prem and we still can’t secure a squad before the season starts. A joke. And this is what happens: The players lose confidence, more work is demanded by other players to cover weak players and so they get injured, players from other clubs avoid us because we’re a cheap joke with no ambition or likelihood to go to Europe so we can't improve, and the Parish tight-fisted cycle of surviving on scraps continures. For example, Eze lacks player support so watch him pull a hamstring trying to do it all while Parish sits on his big fat wallet. BS! But it’s my club. Not a disappointing performance from our manager or boys as a disappointing performance from Parish not supporting the boys. Look at Ward, a Palace legend, but gives Arsenal the 3 points. His position is on the bench like Schlupp too perhaps. RB has been a gaping hole since AWB but someone’s either too stupid or too cheap to fix it. If an AWB was in that position would have beaten Arsenal. We really should stop blaming the boys or Roy. Under the circumstances our management forces them to play they should all be applauded, Ward included. Yes, it's time for PARISH to show intent, but it's been this way for over a decade now. He's got all these excuses for not spending and leaving our team ragged for weeks into the seasons, but where's the effing stadium??? No more excuses: look at Brighton, Brentford, Leicester's league cup. Disgusting management behaviour. Lousy behaviour. Just two positions away from an awesome team and season: RB and striker. JUST TWO!!!!! Cough up Parish!!!!

Jeez! How did Ward give Arsenal the 3 points?

Yep

I hope you are right ME. I know we are on the same page regarding this subject and I agree we should wait until Friday night before “letting rip” if necessary

You mention Brighton ok look at Brighton yes playing extremely good football highest Premier league position last season in their history. Sold a number of good players and made good profits hit the Jackpot with Roberto De Zerbi. The difference between Brighton and Palace. Palace have the 15th lowest debt in Premiership of 84m
Brighton's £409m debt is the 4th highest in Premier League, as Mar23. Taking into account the profit they made on players i believe 250m they still have to replace the players sold and maybe that debt has been reduced. If Zebri brings more success then he is going to be in demand another replaced manager possibly will not be so successful and then they could fall into the relegation trap with a huge debt around their neck. Sorry to say I’ll take Steve Parish way any day on how this club is run

No one can deny how well Brighton have done, recently in the transfer market. However I have long thought that eventually other clubs will “cotton on” to their dealings and they will have to start paying more and giving contracts that offer release clauses.
I note today that they are trying to sign a very promising Argentinian for less than the £9m asking price, Juventus have now shown an interest, sign of things to come?

Possibly because the players that we are interested in haven't yet been made available by their clubs

All will be revealed in less than a week from now

And if the stories are true, we aren't the only club that still hasn't settled its squad 'three weeks' into the season eg Man City (trying to buy Eze), Liverpool (Doucoure), Tottenham (Eze, Guehi), Newcastle (Andersen) etc etc

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

SP has no money so he's a waste of time, you have another 2 Americans who never intended to spend any money SP chose them knowing this and next you have another person who does a lot of talking about wanting to spend more but does he even have the money to loan the club I don't believe he does other wise you use influence to for example build new grounds or stadium expansion (I believe he was the one that funded academy the timing lines up)

It's shocking how the only place you can buy Palace shirt is from club shop and this applies world wide decisions like this shows poor business.

Hi, chip. I’m the shoulder.

You sound like one of those so-called fans who think a Thai sugar daddy or a Saudi consortium would ease the pain and give us success season after season, right?

Why didn’t we keep Butland and put the£20m wasted on Henderson towards a decent Striker?

We won't have '' wasted '' £20m because the upfront fee is £15m.

That and the fact that Johnstone will be leaving.
