I can see how one season of competitive attractive football in the Championship with us bouncing back first time has an appeal.

However, as pointed out, there is no guarantee of promotion, nor indeed of attractive football. If you miss out first time there is the danger of becoming mired in that league.

I think we have got used to the big match atmosphere that prevails in the Premier League with a full stadium and all the hullabaloo that goes with PL football. Even games against the likes of Burnley and Bournemouth have an import.

I think we have forgotten what it is like to be playing Hull City on a wet Tuesday night in front of 15,000.

I think we should do everything we can to stay in the PL considering that if we do go down our sole ambition will be to get back up again!

Relegation will be like 93 & 95 all over again.
The club will sell Eze, Olise, Guerhi and Anderson because all will put in transfer requests.
We will possibly spend some years in the wilderness.
However, I actually think Parrish sees this coming and has now accepted the club's fate and is planning for the Championship and is probably looking for a Championship manager for next season.
No manager wants to come to us now because we have little money to invest on quality players. The money we had last summer has been wasted.
With Hodgson at the helm of what is clearly a sinking ship, we will be taken apart week in week out. The highlight for the fans will be seeing Will Hughes losing the ball in midfield and an awful goalkeeper letting in goals. Where is Sam Johnstone??!
This may seem negative to some, but I've seen it all before.

Having endured 45 minutes of the Millwall v. Preston game a couple of weeks ago, the thought of watching that level of football regularly has no appeal to me.

Can you honestly say though, that apart from the odd flash of brilliance from Eze and Olise, that the quality has been any different from us at our level?

We do get to watch top quality. Problem is most of them play for the visiting teams.

Yes for sure rather stay in premiership But been in this league for how many years ? All i can see we have to show for it is an Academy? We haven't progressed as we should have through lack of investment. It could be a case of rip it up and start again .Get our youngsters in get a decent manager in and give him something to get his teeth into.No manager will touch us as moment and who could blame him ?

The only plus I could see is more 3pm saturday kick-offs.

I utterly hate early or worse still late kick off times for Palace. I used to love my Saturdays. Bit of work, bit of lunch and a pint then the football. Sundays should always be be one of the big boys playing, sit back, relax watch a good game (with zero stress as it’s not Palace).
Hate Monday night games too (for Palace).

Relegation would be bad and I'll tell you why: Because we have consistently failed in the EPL. Championship football is all about dreaming of doing well in the premier league. How could we dream big after Crystal Parish? Barely tenth spot, no silverware, nothing, zero, zilch. It won't be the same as being in the Championship when we once believed we would realise top six status in the top tier like we once achieved before it was the premier league. No, after 12 years of Parish's same old same old we'd be in the championship trying to fight 23 other clubs to get back into the EPL, only this time only believing that if promoted we'd once again be fighting relegation every season. No, it won't be the same, and therefore a bad idea. We need to kick some butt in this league or _______ OFF!

Relegation would be bad, but at the moment we’re playing championship football. The worst team in the prem. Offer nothing there. A couple of talented star, but no ambition, drive, endeavor, industry at player, team and club level. Even Burnley actually have a plan that’s starting to take shape.
