Personally would rather keep all and add 1/2 new signings.

Johnstone

Munoz
Andersen
Guehi
Lerma
Mitchell

Doucoure
Wharton

Olise
Mateta
Eze

If we can keep hold of them and if they all stay fit we’ve got a really good side now, that’s without accounting for any new signings, but as we all know ‘if’ is the magic word

Selling is all well and good - if the replacements are as good or better and cheaper. If not, then it isn't worth it. Which is kind of a circular argument. I expect one or two agents to unsettled at least one of our stars in the summer.
Say Guehi, for example, he's been injured, Richards looks good. However, Guehi has been injured - might not go for what he would have done, and try to think of cheap, good central defenders. There are only a couple that fit the bill - and they'd have to want to come here.
Say Eze, possibly could replace with a couple of players but they're going to be high fees, likely high wages. I immediately think of maybe Gibbs White, maybe Gallagher - any cheaper, any better? Maybe Barkley? Perhaps worth a shout but I'd rather Eze.
I'm not sure you can get another Olise. He needs a very high fee. I guess I'd take young, exciting, quick. Perhaps a couple fit the bill.
Doucoure - probably needs to come back before there will be interest. Don't think you could do any better than Wharton to replace him. We're not buying Lavia.
I think Andersen will perhaps get offers - probably quite high ones. If we can get a young English replacement for the same value then perhaps - but it's a risk.
It's not as easy as it all sounds when you delve into it.
I guess to reverse this: think of who's young and already doing well in a high enough league. Then think if they would suit us - or even consider us (for instance no one from Real or Barcelona are on their way to Selhurst), then consider who we could sell to buy them and how much profit we would make. You can then wonder if it's worth it. For instance, I'd take Branthwaite from Everton but would it be worth selling Guehi or Andersen to buy him? It's not an easy decision. Colwill similar. And any of these could be well overpriced and frankly well overrated.

I doubt we will be looking at established or rising PL players due to the premium. The exceptions will be free transfers as was the case with Lerma. We've already been "linked" by the clickbait sites with a couple of Leicester players whose contracts are currently due to expire in the Summer (Iheanacho and Ndidi)

IMO we will continue to fish in the Championship and, with Glasner as manager, the German leagues.

The only way we might hold on to our best players would be if we were to win all our remaining games and thus give hope we can be good enough to challenge for Europe next season.

That is possible under Glasner but unthinkable with our previous manager.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment about a high fee for Olise, we will get whatever the release clause in his contract says, not a penny more.

If Guehi returns this season and looks like he has fully recovered then he should make the England squad. A good euros and his value could shoot up.

I’d love to see them all stay but realistically it’s unlikely we can spend without selling. Are we at risk of financial fair play?

Sell Guehi for £60-80m and we could bring in 2 new defenders with money to spare. The Union Berlin lad I read is 20m euros and strongly linked.
I suspect we will see some shrewd business over the summer. Glasner will expect financial backing or else we could be losing more than our star players.

Where can we find more bargains like Munoz….what a signing

Not necessarily. The release clause fee will be the minimum if there is stiff competition from the top clubs to buy him, surely?

Palace can’t pick who he goes to. Team trigger the release clause, team only have to match it. The two teams then negotiate with him and he opts for the one that offers him the deal he likes best. Why would team (c) come in with a higher bid, they essentially only need to match the release clause to get into a negotiation with him, not with Palace? I accept I could have got this entirely wrong but that’s how it looks to me.

That's the downside to a release clause. The club is guaranteed a minimum transfer fee but as you said any bidding war will be between the player and the buying clubs, Palace will not be involved.

Release clauses only really affect clubs our size where keen young players probably wouldn't sign without one. Clubs in lower divisions can't insist on them because they need whatever fees they can get while the big boys have crazy sums built in (Ansu Fati has a 1 bn Euro release clause so he's unlikely to stay at Brighton).
